The Department of Public Works' mission is to plan, build, operate, maintain and support transportation, parks and cemeteries to sustain natural systems essential to a safe and comfortable life and afterlife in Ipswich. The Department works with town employees and residents to ensure that the present and future way of life in Ipswich is consistent with their needs and desire to want to continue to work and live in Ipswich.
