IHP is a policy-making body that initiates programs, reviews applications for assistance, makes recommendations to the Town’s Planning Board on many housing matters, and acts as an adviser to the Ipswich Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board and the Ipswich Planning Board. IHP members are approved by the Town Manager.
The Ipswich Housing Partnership meets jointly with the Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Meetings are usually held in the Planning Department conference room at 7:30 AM. Both committees are supported by the Department of Planning and Development staff, including the Town's Housing Coordinator, Caja Johnson.
